If you’re thinking about returning a product, here are some important things to keep in mind:
All the products you find on Weaves of Bharat are made by skilled weavers and artisans, often in their own homes or villages.
These handmade items may have slight imperfections like variations in weave patterns, unique prints, small lumps in the fabric, or minor differences in color. These quirks are completely normal for handmade products and don’t mean there’s anything wrong with them.
Weaves of Bharat is a marketplace where most sellers are small-scale weavers, cooperatives, and artisans. They work hard to create and sell genuine handmade goods. But, it can be tough for them to handle returns because the products are often returned in a condition that can’t be resold. For example, if a cotton saree is returned all wrinkled and damaged, it’s a big loss for these artisans. It’s important to note that handcrafted products, unlike those produced in large quantities with chemical dyes or digital printing, are not mass-manufactured. These handmade items are created in small batches, making them unique and special.
We appreciate your support and understanding. It means a lot to our artisans and us as we strive to preserve the beauty of handloom craftsmanship.
Which items can be returned? (items eligible for returns)
We have a 24-hour return policy, which means you can request a return within 24 hours of receiving your item.
The items should be unused, in a resellable condition, or if they are defective.
Please ensure the items are in their original packaging with all tags still intact.
At Weaves of Bharat, returns are accepted only in cases where a wrong or damaged product has been delivered.
Exchange Policy
At Weaves of Bharat, we aim to ensure your satisfaction while supporting our artisan partners. Therefore, we offer the option of exchanging products under the following conditions:
Exchanges are encouraged on a case-by-case basis, provided there is a genuine reason for the request.
We are more than willing to replace items that are defective or damaged. However, due to the unique nature of handcrafted products, we cannot guarantee an exact replacement in terms of the same product or color. Each saree we source from our weavers is distinct. In such cases, we assure you that we will provide a replacement with a similar product of equal value, maintaining the highest quality standards. Your satisfaction remains our utmost priority.
If there is no valid reason for exchanging the product, the customer will be responsible for the return shipment costs.
Customers can request exchanges within 48 hours of order delivery, and the product pick-up request needs to be confirmed by the client.
All exchanges must be in unused condition with all original tags and packaging intact.
Exchanges are only applicable to items within the same price range. If you choose an item of lesser value for the exchange, the remaining balance will be kept as credit for your next purchase.
For a single order, only one exchange is allowed. Items that have already been exchanged are not eligible for further exchanges.
Cancellation Policy
At Weaves of Bharat, we value our customers’ satisfaction above all else. Our cancellation policy is designed to be straightforward and customer-friendly.
How to cancel an order on WeavesofBharat.com:
If you need to cancel an order, please make sure to do so within 24 hours of placing the order.
Regarding your cancellations:
If you decide to cancel your order before it has been shipped, you will receive a full refund.
Once the product has been shipped, we regret that we cannot process any further cancellation requests.
Although, it can be canceled on the receiver’s side within 24 hours after delivery. If there is no valid reason for returning and requesting a refund, the customer will be responsible for the return shipment costs.
